I just travelled into Riyadh with a computer, cell phone and all the other naughty bits and my luggage wasn’t even scanned or x-rayed and I sailed through.

The Saudi airport authorities are so busy trying to implement biometric entry requirements that I can’t see how they’d even attempt to look at individual PCs.

to repeat, the ONLY WAY a computer can be checked for inappropriate content is for a human being to sit there and look at all the photos and watch all the videos. scanning software can FIND all the photos & videos on your computer but it can’t work out which ones are legal and which are illegal.

the fastest of equipment will take around 2 hours of time to just copy files from a 320 gb hard disk drive. and it will take around 5 hours for checking.
